About Veramar Health and Wellness Retreats

One of the most popular destinations of the Istrian peninsula on Adriatic Coast is the city of Rovinj. The Rovinj O & R Health Center is located on a wooded peninsula, just north of the city center.

The Veramar Health and Wellness Retreat, was created to provide a safe and comfortable vacation environment for individuals seeking to improve their health and wellbeing. We operate in partnership with the Rovinj Dr. M. Horvat Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Health Centre. The Rovinj O & R Health Centre was built in 1888, and has been providing health and wellness to Europeans since its inception. It is among the oldest orthopedic-rehabilitation institutes in the region. The Rovinj O & R Health Centre and Hospital with onsite doctors, specialists, therapists, trained personnel and staff has a long standing tradition of providing health services and wellness vacations to guests from Europe for the last hundred years.

Veramar will accommodate you in a charming 30 room building within the Rovinj O & R Health Center, nestled in one of the property gardens. The Rovinj O & R Health Centre features therapy clinics, an indoor heated saltwater pool, restaurant and a wheelchair accessible beach. The property's peninsula features more than 2 km of breathtaking Adriatic shoreline, and meandering paths along the picturesque coast.
